LOS ANGELES, CA, September 26 – Crypto Invest Summit (CIS) has recently announced that Apple co-founder and cult tech hero Steve Wozniak will deliver a keynote fireside chat at the largest crypto and blockchain event on the West Coast. The two and a half-day event returns this fall to the Los Angeles Convention Center, following its highly successful, sold-out inaugural spring event.

Steve Wozniak dumped almost all of his crypto holdings, so why is he headlining Crypto Invest Summit? CIS Co-Founder and GHV founding partner Alon Goren mentions, “We’re leading an effort to open mainstream access to crypto and blockchain, which until now has been for insiders and techies. That’s why we brought Woz; he can help us fulfill our mission.”

Wozniak will discuss various sought-after topics, such as why he believes blockchain could be a revolutionary technology and the importance of creating utility and real value for the end user. CIS will showcase his appearance October 23 at 9:30 A.M. on the main stage.

The Silicon Valley icon will also weigh in on the blockchain “bubble” and his thoughts on various tokens.

Goren says:

“Steve Wozniak has been at the forefront of ground-breaking technology and innovation and continues to be a major influencer.”

CIS Co-Founder and GHV founding partner, Josef Holm adds:

“Woz” is also a cultural icon who is a crowd pleaser and attendees will be eager to hear his insights on the newest disruptive technology.”

The leading global conference and expo for crypto and blockchain is set to take place October 22 to 24. More than 4,500 global innovators attended the sold-out April event that included over 150 speakers, 40 media outlets, a packed ICO pitch stage and a bustling expo floor featuring the hottest blockchain and cryptocurrency companies.

Crypto Invest Summit is expected to attract more than 6,000 attendees. It will feature more exhibit space with a 60,000 square foot convention floor, a lively, fun-filled kickoff party, 200+ speakers, three stages, fireside chats, 40+ ICO pitches, an exhibition, and the iconic expo party. Multiple networking opportunities will allow investors and companies who are raising money to meet each other.

In addition, the Summit will offer a Security Token Master Class, limited to 150 attendees, featuring seven, half-hour sessions with former Vice Chairman of Nasdaq, David Weild, teaching the first session.

The curated educational programming targets the investor, entrepreneur, technologist or blockchain newbie on the hottest topics, including government regulation, mass adoption, diversity and inclusion, security versus utility, and what’s next in this rapidly evolving space.
