There are enough doubts and worries or concerns that people are yet to realize the reality of the bitcoin cash (BCH) ‘hash war’ and how it will work out. One of the main reasons for it is the difference perception aired by different people. For instance, Bitpay indicated that it would not extend the support for bitcoin SV following the BCH form. Similarly, there are others who are not happy with the fork.

Rewriting the Chain

In a tweet, CobraBitcoin, who is co-owner of bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org expressed its doubt whether people have realized the outcome of the brutal nature of bitcoin cash ‘hash war.’ The tweet further said that

“Craig and Calvin already have over 50% of the hashing power, and they won’t play nice. If Bitcoin Cash SV fails, that hash power will come back and censor transactions, rewrite the chain, etc.”

In short, if reports are correct, BCH is splitting a bit of its security again.

People don’t realise how absolutely brutal the Bitcoin Cash “hash war” will be. Craig and Calvin already have over 50% of the hashing power, and they won’t play nice. If Bitcoin Cash SV fails, that hash power will come back and censor transactions, rewrite the chain, etc.

This would mean that individual bitcoin (BTC) miner could have a 51 percent on two bitcoin cashes. It is just the start of the war as far as BCH hash battle is concerned as every altcoin will come under pressure. Significantly, BTC would also be taken down. If the sacred paper should be taken into consideration, then cash would become king. Bitcoin cash SV is trading with a gain of 39.27 percent at $98.54.

Not To Extend Support

Even as bitcoin cash is witnessing hectic activities, Bitpay disclosed that it would not extend its support for bitcoin SV, which is promoted by Craig Wright of the bitcoin cash fork . Significantly, the cryptocurrency payment processing firm is widely accepted by merchants across the globe as the margin of error is small in payments though it comes with a little bit privacy compromise. A few days ago, Cobra indicated that BCHSV is meant for users as a variant of BTC.

In a tweet a few days ago, Craig Wright said that people will learn the hard lesson that there would not be any fresh asset and that there is just BCH. He warned investors that if anyone is expecting to get two coins following the fork, then they are mistaken.
